Minutes of Field Township’s Regular Board Meeting and Board of Audit, February 16, 2016
The February, 2016, Field Township regular board meeting was called to order by Chairman Keith Aho at 7:00 pm on February 16, 2016 at the Field Town Hall.
Present: Supervisors Aho, Chapman, Fulcher, Treasurer Ellie Brunner, Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann, Clerk Pat Chapman
The January 12, 2016 regular board minutes were read. Supervisor Fulcher made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Supervisor Chapman. Motion carried unanimously.

Treasurer’s report from Treasurer Ellie Brunner:
Beg. Bal: $ 55,944.66 Ending Balance: $49,954.96
Receipts: $1,177.44 Outstanding Checks: $154.26
Expenses: $7,167.14 Bank Balance $50,109.22
Motion made by Supervisor Chapman, seconded by Supervisor Fulcher to approve the treasurer’s report, net pay distribution report and authorize payment of claims. Motion carried unanimously.
Ambulance – No report
Fire – No report.
Roads and Bridges – Supervisor Fulcher reported he had driven the roads and they are snow covered and alright. He has received both positive and negative comments about the new 911 signs.
Hospital – Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann reported during the Care Center Renovation 12 patients will need to be relocated during the project. Mediation with nurses will begin March 29. Currently 6 people have signed up for the Certified Nursing Assistant training classes which will begin in March. Classes can accommodate up to 10. As of January 11, Cook Hospital celebrated 366 days without a fall.
Cemetery – Chairman Aho reported Allan Presley is interested in making the frame for the reproduction. He will have more time after break-up. Other names were brought up for the project – Terry Kantola, Troy Simpson?
Joint Powers Board – Chairman Aho reported the Cook School is moving ahead with the DNR and trail plans. Representatives from the school will present information at the annual meeting.
Planning and Zoning – Both parties involved with the fence dispute received their letters.
The 2016 Annual Meeting Agenda was discussed.
Supervisor Fulcher made a motion to approve the following judges to serve at the Annual Township Election: Susan Rebman – head judge, Julie Grahn, Dawn Simpson, Mike Enzmann, alternate. Seconded Supervisor Chapman. Motion approved unanimously.
Supervisor Fulcher made a motion to adjourn the regular board meeting ar 8:19 pm. Seconded by Supervisor Chapman. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned.
Chairman Aho convened the Board of Audit Meeting at 8:19 pm.
The 2015 statements of receipts, disbursements, balances and CTAS Schedule 1 were given by Treasurer Brunner.
A motion was made by Supervisor Fulcher, seconded by Supervisor Chapman to accept the year end financial reports. Motion carried unanimously. A motion was made by Supervisor Chapman to accept the following transfers out of the General Fund:
Cemetery $ 2,000
For a total of $25,000. Seconded by Supervisor Fulcher. Motion carried unanimously.
Supervisor Chapman made a motion to recommend the following levy of $39,000 for 2016 payable in the year 2017 at the annual meeting:
Seconded by Supervisor Fulcher. Motion carried unanimously.
Supervisor Chapman made a motion to adjourn at 9:03 pm, seconded by Supervisor Fulcher. Motion carried unanimously.
