Field Township Regular Board Meeting August 13, 2019
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., August 13, 2019 at the Field Town Hall.

Treasurer’s report from Treasurer Ellie Brunner:

Motion made by Supervisor Chapman, seconded by Supervisor Fulcher, to approve the treasurer’s report, claims and net pay distribution report. Motion carried unanimously.
Fire – No report.
Ambulance – Supervisor Chapman gave the ambulance report for June and July. There were two ambulance runs in Field for the two months. The ambulance staff is training on using soft restraints for violent patients. They are in the process of hiring one new EMT to make 16 EMTs on staff. Supervisor Chapman will contact the ambulance director to possibly attend a township meeting.
Road and Bridges – Supervisor Fulcher reported the township roadsides were mowed. Chairman Aho sited a collapsed culvert on the Neva Road.
Hospital – Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann reported the hospital board recommends a $100k levy increase. On a $100,000 homestead the increase will be $9.90. The Health Fair at the Cook Hospital will be September 14. The Care Center was surveyed by the state June 17 and nothing significant was found.
Cemetery – Supervisor Fulcher had photos of the completed shed at the cemetery. Trinity Lutheran Church will hold services at the church September 8.
Joint Powers Board – Chairman Aho reported the trails will be put in by Thistle Dew Camp in September.
Planning and Zoning – The board had no objections to the reclassification of state tax forfeited properties to non-conversation determined by the St. Louis County Land and Minerals Dept.
The next meeting will be the regular board meeting, September 10, 2019, 7 pm, at the Field Town Hall.
Supervisor Chapman made a motion to adjourn at 7:56 p.m.. Seconded by Supervisor Fulcher.
