Minutes Of Field Township’s Regular  Board Meeting 

The meeting was called to order at the Field Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. 

Present: Supervisors Keith Aho, Tom Chapman, Keith Fulcher, Treasurer Ellie Brunner, Clerk Pat Chapman Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann

The minutes of Field Township’s regular board meeting  held June 9 ,2020 were read and stand as presented.

Treasurer’s report from Treasurer Ellie Brunner:

Disbursements: $2,077.80            Check numbers 6138-6153   
Motion made by Supervisor Fulcher, seconded by Supervisor Chapman , to approve the treasurer’s report, claims and net pay distribution report.  Motion carried unanimously.

Committee Reports:

Fire – No report.

Ambulance-No report.

Road and Bridges – Supervisor Fulcher will contact someone to deliver 4 loads of gravel on the Riddell Rd. and 6 on the Maintenance Rd. 

Hospital – Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann reported all staff on layoff are now back to work at least part time. A new nursing home DON will start mid-June. Hospital utilization has been returning to normal. 5 additional isolation rooms have been approved by MN Dept. of Health. The PPP loan of $1,426,400 will be forgiven.

Cemetery – Supervisor Chapman will check on ordering windows for the church

Hall– The electric bills from Oct. – March were reviewed. There was discussion about Marty Yourczek checking the furnace and having someone check the hall with a thermal imaging unit. 

Joint Powers Board – Chairman Aho reported the work on the trail is not done.

Planning and Zoning – No report.

Broadband – A zoom meeting will be held at 11, June 12 at the Art Unlimited office with the board and a Paul Bunyan representative. 

Old Business– None

 

New Business:

The St. Louis County Assessor will be assessing property in Field Township. Because of the Covid 19 restrictions the assessor will not have any in person meetings but will be photographing property and buildings from a car with the St. Louis County logo on it.

The next regular board meeting will be 7 pm, July 14, 2020 at the Field Town Hall.
Supervisor Fulcher  made a motion to adjourn at 7:46 p.m.. Seconded by Supervisor Chapman.
Motion carried unanimously.
