Field Township Regular Board Meeting July 9, 2019

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., July 9, 2019 at the Field Town Hall.
Present: Supervisors Keith Aho, Tom Chapman, Keith Fulcher, Treasurer Ellie Brunner, Clerk Pat Chapman,
Absent: Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann

The minutes of Field Township’s regular board meeting held June 9, 2019 were read and stand as presented.

Treasurer’s report from Treasurer Ellie Brunner:

Beg. Balance: $ 59,502.15  • Ending Balance: $57,314.41
Receipts: $0  • Plus Outstanding Checks: $10.00
Disbursements: $2,187.74  • Total Per Bank Statement: $57,324.41

Motion made by Supervisor Chapman, seconded by Supervisor Fulcher, to approve the treasurer’s report, claims and net pay distribution report. Motion carried unanimously.

Committee Reports:

Fire – No report.
Ambulance – No report.
Road and Bridges –S upervisor Fulcher reported the roads need brushing. Supervisor Chapman made a motion to hire Pete Glowaski to brush the township roads, seconded by Supervisor Fulcher. Motion carried unanimously.
Hospital – The Clerk shared the hospital report from Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann in his absence. Two candidates have been interviewed for the open doctor position. The board approved $200k for the replacement garage. $46k approved to upgrade HVAC controls in older part of the hospital. Health Fair September 14. Edgewood Vista assisted living in Virginia had a robbery. The board reviewed their response plan in the event of a robbery attempt. Flex scheduling has been implemented for most of the salary staff.
Cemetery – Supervisor Fulcher had photos of the shed at the cemetery. It is costing more than anticipated – material less but labor more. There was discussion if the building needed siding and shingles to match the church.
Joint Powers Board – Chairman Aho reported the school will find someone to cut the mature aspen on the 50 acres before more trail can be put in.
Planning and Zoning – No report.

The next meeting will be the regular board meeting, August 13, 2019, 7 pm, at the Field Town Hall.

Supervisor Fulcher made a motion to adjourn at 7:29 p.m.. Seconded by Supervisor Chapman.
