Field Township Regular Board Meeting September 10, 2019
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., September 10, 2019 at the Field Town Hall.
Present: Supervisors Keith Aho, Tom Chapman, Keith Fulcher, Hospital Representative mike Enzmann, Treasurer Ellie Brunner, Clerk Pat Chapman
The minutes of Field Township’s regular board meeting held August 13, 2019 were read and stand as presented.

Treasurer’s report from Treasurer Ellie Brunner:

Motion made by Supervisor Chapman, seconded by Supervisor Fulcher, to approve the treasurer’s report, claims and net pay distribution report. Motion carried unanimously.
Fire – No report.
Ambulance – Supervisor Chapman gave the ambulance report for August. There was one run in Field Township. The ambulance director will be attending the Leader Dev. Course in Alexandria. There are 16 EMTs, 14 of which are active. Seven First Responders, 3 active.
Roads and Bridges – Supervisor Fulcher reported the culvert was repaired on the road by the Northwoods School. South Riddell needs graded.
Hospital – Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann reported the Health Fair will be at the Cook Hospital September 14, 9-12. The pharmacy audit went well, the new pharmacist is getting good reviews. St. Luke’s does the coding for billing. The hospital joined Wilderness Health Integrated Health Partnership with the goal of improved efficiency. Levy increase of $100k was approved.
Cemetery – Trinity Lutheran Church held a service at the cemetery church on September 8. Joel Knutson’s outstanding work as cemetery caretaker was recognized. Jeff Elliott will begin surveying. It was noted a grave is caving in and needs dirt.
Joint Powers Board – Chairman Aho reported a one mile plus trail is brushed and needs grooming at the school forest.
Planning and Zoning – Supervisor Chapman made a motion to approve the signing of the Amendment No. 3 to Joint Cooperation Agreement between St. Louis County and Field Township. Seconded by Supervisor Fulcher. Motion carried unanimously. This agreement is to requalify with HUD.
Supervisor Fulcher attended the MAT District Meeting. More insurance claims are being reported due to sexual harassment. The 2019 MAT Educational Conference and Annual Meeting will be November 22-23 in Mankato. The legal seminar will be in Cotton October 5.
A motion was made by Supervisor Fulcher, seconded by Supervisor Chapman to hold the October – February meetings at the Clerk’s residence, 9998 East Lind Rd., Angora. Motion carried unanimously. The Clerk will publish and post the change.
The next meeting will be the regular board meeting, October 8, 2019, 7 pm, at the Clerk’s residence.
Supervisor Chapman made a motion to adjourn at 8:00 p.m.. Seconded by Supervisor Fulcher.
