The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., September 11, 2018 at the Field Town Hall.

Absent: Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann.
The minutes of Field Township’s regular board meeting held August 21, 2018 were read and stand as presented.

Treasurer’s report from Treasurer Ellie Brunner:
Beg. Balance: $ 76,635.74 Ending Balance: $82,974.66
Receipts: $11,828.45 Plus Outstanding Checks: $3,141.72
Disbursements: $5,489.53 Total Per Bank Statement: $86,116.38
Motion made by Supervisor Chapman, seconded by Supervisor Fulcher to approve the treasurer’s report, claims and net pay distribution report. Motion carried unanimously.
Fire – No report
Ambulance – No report
Road and Bridges –Supervisor Fulcher reported he will call the county to grade S. Riddell Rd. and also find out why there is no sign identifying Samuelson Road off of Highway 53. The clerk also received correspondence from the St. Louis County Sheriff to notify the board that Wood Road is now Old Wood Road and St. Louis County Public Works will change the road name signs to reflect the change.
Hospital – In his absence Hospital Representative Mike Enzmann emailed his report which stated the X-Ray machine needs replaced at a cost of $300k. A grant for $250k has been applied for from the Leona Helmsley Foundation. The preliminary info from the Community Health Survey shows the greatest need is for Mental Health Services.
Cemetery– Chairman Aho reported the ramp at the church is complete and will discuss it further with Jay Brunner. Trinity Lutheran Church will meet at the church September 16. Future plans for the church include a door and an outhouse and shed on the grounds.
Joint Powers Board – Chairman Aho reported the bridge is designed for the school forest and build date scheduled for this fall.
Planning and Zoning – Chairman Aho reported citizens can respond on line to the county’s comprehensive land use plan.
Hall– The windows have been ordered. Chairman Aho reported a new frig has been donated to the township by Jerry Groves. Supervisor Fulcher will take the old mower behind the hall to the dump.
Supervisor Fulcher shared informational packets from the 2018 MAT District 10 meeting in Twig. Jim Fisher was re-elected director for the district.
The slate of election judges for the November 6 was approved.
The next regular board meeting will be October 9, 2018, 7 pm at the town hall.
Supervisor Fulcher made a motion to adjourn at 7:36 p.m.. Seconded by Supervisor Chapman.
